Terms of service

These terms apply when you hire KBK Technologies ("we") to build, host or maintain a website or other software. Your written quote forms part of these terms; the quote applies to the specific work if it differs from these general terms.
Quotes and scope
Before work starts, we provide a written quote with features, price, payment stages and expected timeline. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.
Payments
Payments are made in the stages listed in your quote, by bank transfer, UPI or online payment where available. Taxes are charged as applicable and stated in the quote or invoice. Annual hosting and care fees are due at the start of each service year.
What you provide
You provide accurate website content and confirm you have the right to use it. Delays in receiving content or approvals may affect the timeline.
Ownership
Your domain name, content and customer data belong to you. Once paid in full, you may continue using the website delivered for you. We retain the right to reuse our general code, know-how and tools in other projects, excluding your confidential information and content.
Hosting and care
When we host and maintain your website, we provide updates, backups and fixes as described in your quote. We aim for reliable availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, including during maintenance or third-party outages.
Online payments
Where configured, payments your customers make on your website go to your own payment account. The payment provider's terms, verification requirements and charges apply.
Ending the service
You can stop hosting and care at the end of any paid year. We will reasonably assist with moving your website and data to you or another provider, subject to the agreed scope and applicable charges. See our refund and cancellation policy.
Liability
We perform our work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount paid to us for the specific work concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Himachal Pradesh will have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
